The Local Waves are made up of South Shore MA singer/songwriters Adam Frates and John DeBellis. Beginning as fans of each other’s music, they decided to form a duo while co-writing their debut single, “Better Days”, in 2024. The pair blend reggae, roots and easy listening “summer vibes” to deliver music that everyone can enjoy.
Since releasing Better Days, they’ve been writing, rehearsing and playing local shows. They plan to release more original music later this year and look forward to sharing some of those new songs with us in the Lodge in September.
